On June 6, 2021 I'm pleased to be presenting and leading a discussion on nude feminist art. This is a women's only event to encourage a safe space for open discussion about how female nudity works in feminist art.
This is one of many fantastic events lined up for Arts Week by Hamilton Arts Council.

In this discussion, Meighan West walks viewers through her experiences as a women that brought her to painting female nudes. She tells the story that inspired the art, then opens discussion to break down the work and share your reactions to not only her feminist nude paintings but other feminist nude artwork. In her presentation she allows the audience to feel safe in exploring their reactions to the art so they can become their own feminist art critics.
